With over 25 years of experience as a Social Studies educator, I’ve had the opportunity to teach grades 6–12 across a range of subjects including U.S. History, World History, Economics, and Government. 

In 2005, I completed a Master’s in Education with a focus on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. In 2011, I earned National Board Certification in Adolescence and Young Adulthood/Social Studies–History, a milestone that reflects my commitment to high-quality instruction and student success.

Since 2012, I’ve been designing hands-on, engaging classroom activities that move students beyond passive learning and into active participation. I believe students learn best when they are doing, discussing, and interacting—not just listening. My goal is to create lessons that are meaningful, memorable, and easy for teachers to implement.
